Biography

Swedish multi talanted artist/producer Mattias Fridell, is not only known for his driving techno, and other electronical music (electro, ambient, idm, house and so on), but also as a coffee addicted live-sound engineer and several non-electronic music arrangements and productions. Mattias started producing music around 1995 and developed interest in electronic music. Slowly starting out working as a deejay while he produced music with his friends he soon came to understand this was his call in life. While he no longer plays as a deejay active, he picked up producing music even more. The first EP was released 2002, the "Solutions EP" released on Embowel with his, at the time, partner in crime Alexander Johansson. "The Solutions EP" was picked up by many swedish deejays and played at the clubs, also Calle Dernulf (SR P3) felt the need to play it in swedens biggest radio-show for electronical music. This EP was favorised and played by many international big names. Mattias does not only produce techno, under different names he also release ambient, electro & several other electronical music. You can hear some of his work on well-respected labels such as ARMS, Audio Assault, XXX records, Tidy Trax and so on. The year 2007 will come down to lots of new material from Mattias on upcoming and already established labels, not to mention many intresting teamworks with other artists this year. Mattias send his regards to supporters, his friends, his family, his work mates in the scene and that special person "you know who you are" (A cup of coffee perhaps?).
