Biography

DJ BOSS came up in techno scene just like a „flash in the sky“. He is known worldwide as a successful DJ, producer and remixer. Born Slavo Brtan, DJ BOSS has always listened to all electronic music styles, which influenced him to start making his own tracks back in 1995. Five years of hard work passed and finally, in 2000, KneDeep Records, label headed by DJ Rush, released his first EPs – “Parameter Jedna EP” and “Parameter Dva EP” followed by remixes on Stickman Rec, Klirfactor Rec, Room Tone Rec, PVC and Decomplex Audio. His name came out of the darkness and since then DJ BOSS has been invited to perform at the biggest events in his home country Slovakia as well as in his neighbors Austria, Poland, Hungary and Czech Republic. His energetic performance and innovative tunes caused an impact on the electronic music community and everyone came to know one of the creators of this new sound firstly called “Slovakian Techno.” The fever has been unstoppable and DJ BOSS has been one of the main ambassadors of this “new techno sound” reaching countries like Spain, Croatia, Netherlands and even the Mediterranean islands of Malta.
